The project's goal is to strengthen the conditions for the establishment and investment of the Wilderness and Nature Culture Museum by increasing the project's visibility, further activating stakeholder collaboration, and preparing funding applications (EU, private sector, and other possible funding channels). 

The focus of the project is on advocacy, influencing, and seeking funding from the EU, private sector, and other possible channels. The aim is to explore direct EU funding opportunities and prepare the necessary applications. Increasing the visibility of the Wilderness Museum project also enables the preparation of private funding applications. External funding is needed to facilitate the museum investment, and investigating this is a key part of the museum project at this stage. The project will prepare the necessary advocacy and communication plan for the museum's preparation process. 

The project supports both the South Karelia Regional Program's "Active eKarjala" and the Smart Specialization Strategy's "Boosting the Experience Economy" goals. 

The project consists of two action packages: 

1. 1. Advocacy and Influencing Work: Includes active visibility, measures to increase the museum's awareness, participation in events and event organization, communication about future activities and the advocacy plan, targeted communication and materials for private funders, and translating materials into English. 

1. 2. Securing Funding: Preparation of EU projects that support the acquisition of state matching funds. Mapping private funding and exploring other possible funding channels. Networking both domestically and at the EU level at events and occasions.
